But it slowly became an unbearable source of frustration and annoyance to me, so I finally dropped it. Local friends chose it for book club, and met weekly to discuss each chapter. I really, REALLY tried to finish this book, and I did make it 2/3 of the way. And from there, the possibilities are endless.
